Mother and Child

I drew this for my mommy for Christmas. (She adores white tigers! ^^) My sister (~YamakaiYoko) also drew a picture (of Lucy/Lucille Ball), and we had the pictures printed on high quality photo paper and placed in a talking album that my dad bought for her. My sister provided the voices because I couldn't think of what to say... it turned out really cute!

I inked this drawing with the brush pens I got for my birthday and colored it with regular Crayola colored pencils (I kind of wish I brought my Ticonderoga pencils home for the holidays, because they blend smoother, but I think this turned out to be a sweet illustration nonetheless)

I've been drawing a lot of animals lately; I'm not used to it!

While I'm on the topic of my sisters art, though... she's improved a lot! When we had the pictures printed, it was her picture that caught the photo guy's eye. It was also the first one to catch my mom's eye when she opened her Christmas present, too! ^^ I'm really proud of her! I need to send the scan to her so she can upload it next time she's online!
